Who We Are. . .
10 Tooth Gear is a Legacy Robotics team that has been a part of FIRST Lego League Challenge for 10+ years. The team is made up of 10 kids ages 9-14 who love STEAM. We are a Christian Homeschool Club who’s goal is to be highly competitive in FLL while also being good stewards of Christ in all we do.
FIRST Lego League Challenge Competitions are comprised of 4 parts :
Robot Design
Each year the Team must present to a panel of Judges how and why they designed and coded their robot, including it’s innovative features and game strategy.
Innovation
Each year the Team is given a topic and must come up with a Problem and an Innovative Solution to the problem and present it in front of a judging panel.
Core Values
Embracing the Core values of FRIST, Each year the team learns how to work together as a cohesive unit. focusing on Fun, Innovation, Discovery, Teamwork, Inclusion, and Impact
Robot Game
Each year the Team will build, code and run a robot in timed matches in order to score as many points as possible.
